I had dreamed about the day I finally got my chance to be behind the wheel since I was a kid. I was dragged to the speedway as a child with my family before I could walk.My Dad Stephen Bowen was a sprint car driver ,along with my Uncle Max Bowen. They were known as Bowen Racing in the late 70's, 80's and early 90's so its only a given I one day wanted to step into their shoes. In recent years I have had the privileged of crewing and learning the ropes in formula 500 racing from my older cousins the Turner brothers Mat and Adam. Mat who is a well respected and established driver with many credentials under his belt and whom built the custom Taylah Chasis for the car could not have been a better person to learn from. Adam Turner, my other cousin being a rookie himself only a couple of seasons ago has a big fire in the belly and a lets get out there and race attitude like no other person I have come across. This gave me the exposure to what it took to get started from the ground up. And so my story began when I decide in the 2013/14 season to live my dream and get behind the wheel myself.
